Materials: Thread, wedding dress, vintage wedding gloves, black resin, fiber fill, and fishing line.
Center of piece: pink satin with gold thread, hand-stitched quote, "Don't think little girl, just do what you're told." As a young high school girl, a male parking guard said this to me and it still resonates with me. I was forced to wear the white wedding dress at a 12-year old young woman at my 8th grade graduation ceremony.
